Events

1. 100M: Men, Women, U12, Boys 13-18, Girls 13-18, 55+.
2. 200M: Men, Women, U12, Boys 13-18, Girls 13-18, 55+.
3. 1500M: Men, Women, Boys 13-18, Girls 13-18, 55+.
4. 5000M: Men, Women.
5. 4x100M Relay: Men, Women, Mixed (Order: Man, Woman, Man, Woman).
6. Note: There is no limit to the number of events one can enter, but please consider your physical condition.

Objectives

To promote sports exchange among LGBTQ+ communities across Asia, enhance the values of gender and sexual orientation equality, advocate for a sporting culture, and promote physical and mental health, the 2026 Asia Pride Games are hereby organized.

Eligibility

1. Open to all domestic and international athletes who are friendly to gender diversity and support gender equality.
2. There are no restrictions on gender or age.
3. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain consent from a legal guardian.
4. Participants under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent.
5. Please download the Parental Consent Form from the Sports Regulations page on the website and email the signed copy to gaygames.tw@gmail.com.
6. Minors who are married are exempt from this requirement.

Registration

1. Registration Period: From now until January 30, 2026, at 23:59. Late registrations will not be accepted.
2. Registration Method: Online registration only.
3. 1. Competition regulations, schedules, relevant materials, and results will be posted on the Fan Page and Official Website.
4. 2. Registration is considered complete only after payment is made. Unpaid or late payments will not be accepted.
5. 3. Payment: Online credit card payment only.
6. 4. Please check the website for your registration status three days after payment.
7. 5. To maintain competition quality, registration will close once the maximum capacity is reached. We apologize for any inconvenience.
8. 6. If payment is not completed by the deadline, the system will automatically cancel the registration eligibility. No objections will be entertained.

Awards

1. The top eight places in each category will be recognized.
2. 1st to 3rd Place: Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded by the organizer.
3. 4th to 8th Place: Certificates of merit.

Important Notices (Please read carefully)

1. Timed Finals: If the number of participants in a track event is excessive, the event may be conducted as Timed Finals. Athletes may not object to this arrangement.
2. Combined Groups: If an event has fewer than 3 participants, the organizer may combine it with other groups. Athletes may not object.
3. Check-in (Roll Call):
4. Start Time: 30 minutes before the event.
5. End Time: 15 minutes before the event.
6. Athletes must have their ID documents ready for verification during check-in. Competition may strictly proceed only after identity confirmation. Re-checks may be requested during the competition if any discrepancy arises. No appeals regarding athlete identity will be accepted after the event.
7. Schedule Adjustments: If the schedule advances, please proceed to compete upon broadcast announcement. In special cases, athletes may follow the original schedule without forfeit. However, if the schedule is delayed, athletes absent within 5 minutes of the broadcast announcement will be declared to have forfeited (DNS). No objections allowed.
8. Uniform Regulations:
9. Relay Teams: Team members must wear jerseys of the same style and color; shorts must be of the same color scheme.
10. Mixed 4x100m Relay: The two male athletes must wear matching jerseys (vests) in style and color. The two female athletes must also wear matching jerseys (vests) in style and color. The male and female uniforms do not need to match each other.
11. Protests & Appeals:
12. Matters explicitly covered by the rules or equivalent interpretations shall be determined by the Referee's decision.
13. Questions regarding the competition may be raised orally to the Chief Referee. If there is an objection to the Chief Referee's decision, a formal appeal may be submitted to the Jury of Appeal. This must be done in writing within 30 minutes after the official announcement of results.
14. Procedure: Submit a written appeal to the Jury of Appeal. The decision of the Jury of Appeal is final. A deposit of NT$ 5,000 is required when submitting the appeal. If the appeal is rejected, the deposit will be forfeited to the event fund.
15. Eligibility Challenges: If an athlete's eligibility is questioned, the participating unit must provide relevant documents for verification. Eligibility protests must be submitted to the Competition Department before the end of check-in (roll call), accompanied by relevant evidence.
16. During the competition, team leaders, coaches, managers, and athletes are strictly prohibited from questioning referees on the field.
17. Penalties:
18. Disqualification: If an athlete is found ineligible or impersonating another, their individual qualification and all results will be cancelled upon verification.
19. Misconduct: Athletes who disobey referees or behave inappropriately may be disqualified by the Chief Referee.
20. Venue: The organizer reserves the right to use alternative venues if the existing facilities are insufficient.
21. Refunds:
22. Refunds (minus 10% administrative fee) are available if requested before the registration deadline.
23. No refunds after the registration deadline as funds will have been allocated for insurance and administrative costs.
24. Cancellation: Full refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled due to force majeure.
25. Sportsmanship: If any athlete or their relatives violate the spirit of sportsmanship, insult referees, or obstruct the competition, the organizer may, upon the decision of the Referee Committee, terminate their participation in all subsequent events.
26. Insurance: In accordance with Ministry of Sports regulations, all athletes are insured with Personal Accident Insurance of at least NT$ 3 million (covering death, disability, and medical expenses). Participants may purchase additional insurance at their own discretion.
27. Sexual Harassment Prevention: In accordance with Ministry of Sports regulations, the following grievance channel is established Email: gaygames.tw@gmail.com Or file an immediate complaint with the Chief Referee.
28. Media Rights: Photography and video recording of the competition will be used for future promotion, final reports, and social media albums by the organizer.
29. The organizer reserves the right to amend or interpret these regulations for any matters not covered herein.
